The month of August was a whirlwind. The first weekend was spent celebrating a family wedding in Bend, OR. Then I ran my 8th annual Seawheeze Half Marathon in Vancouver. The last week was spent in Boston, MA and Providence, RI for another wedding, and a reunion with my youngest brother and his girlfriend.

Along the way I gathered these fun reads:

  • Intensive grand parenting.
  • How did I not know this Children’s Book Blog existed!
  • Semi-Sparkling Wine is my new favorite drink.
  • 50 years of Sesame Street celebrated on NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert Series.
  • Hatch’s end of summer sale is so tempting.
  • It’s Dahlia season and I’m planning our second annual bloom-cutting trip!
  • Spotify’s Wake Up Happy playlist is on constant repeat in our house right now.
  • Besties aren’t just for girls.
  • Here’s how men can have better friendships.
  • 97% is the new 100%.
  • What’s in sunscreen?
  • What I’m baking for weekend brunch.
  • A little worried about the terrible twos.
  • The book everyone is reading right now.
