We’re two months in to 2021 and just weeks away from the one-year mark of this pandemic. Every day I think about how this is the last time we went to a birthday party before quarantine, or the last time we saw close friends and their kids.

But as we all know by now the only thing we can do is just keep going. And honestly there is so much about this time last year that I don’t miss and probably won’t want to do ever again (wearing makeup, attending kid’s birthday parties every weekend, feeling obligated by social engagements.)

Now that the longest shortest month is wrapped, here are a few of my favorite February things:

Looking forward to this new (somewhat autobiographical?) movie.

The MOST HILARIOUS meme for new parents.

Another Gus is here!

Daydreaming about this quintessential red barn.

But really day dreaming about more sleep. This is a great listen on they key to toddler sleep training.

But really really dreaming about taking the waters.

Thermal long johns. Not that we have much winter in California. Still.

Love the juxtaposition of an ice cream sweatshirt. A reminder to “Always maintain a kind of summer, even in the middle of winter.”

A tribute to a beautiful person.

A reading resolution.

My word of the month.
